  • Be a full time student up to the age of 26.
  • Be a business owner with a Comerica business checking account.
  • Be an Active or Retired Member of the U.S. Military (must show valid Military ID).
  • Be a member of a Comerica Platinum Circle Checking household and designated by the Account owner as the one Access Checking Account free of monthly maintenance fees.

This account does not offer any interest on the money you have saved. Withdrawals at non-Coamerica ATMs have a fee of $2.5. Incoming domestic bank transfers incur a fee of $14, and outgoing transfers have a fee of $35.

Rich Rewards Checking

Rich Rewards Checking has a monthly fee of $18, unless you meet one of the following requirements:

  • $5,000.00 minimum Ledger Balance each day in this account.
  • A minimum combined balance of $7,500.00 each day in this account and/or up to three other related Comerica accounts (Statement Savings, MMIA, HYMMIA, CDs or IRAs).

To open the account, you’ll need an initial deposit of $50. The offered interest rate is only 0.01% APY (note that there are savings accounts with 5% APY). Withdrawals at non-Coamerica ATMs have a fee of $2.5, incoming domestic bank transfers incur a fee of $14, and outgoing transfers have a fee of $35.

Comerica Premier Checking

Comerica Premier Checking has a monthly fee of $22 ($264 per year), unless you meet one of the following requirements:

  • $7,500.00 minimum Ledger Balance each day in this account.
  • Open revolving home equity Account.
  • A minimum combined balance of $20,000.00 each day in this account and/or up to three other related Comerica Accounts (Statement Savings, MMIA, HY MMIA, CDs and IRAs) or an open revolving home equity account.

Comerica Premier Checking also offers a very low interest rate of 0.01% APY. The minimum initial deposit to open the account is $50. The first 4 cash withdrawals from non-Comerica ATMs are fee-free. Incoming domestic bank transfers incur a fee of $14, and outgoing transfers have a fee of $35.

Comerica Platinum Circle Checking

Comerica Platinum Circle Checking has no monthly fees, but to open the account, you’ll need to meet one of the following requirements:

  • $50,000.00 average daily Ledger Balance in any combination of personal or business deposit accounts.
  • A minimum combined balance of $2,500,000.00 each day in any combination of assets managed by Comerica Asset Management, in Comerica Private Banking loan balances or in Comerica Securities, Inc. account balance.

Comerica Platinum Circle Checking also offers a very low interest rate, as it provides only a 0.05% APY. The positive aspect is that you can make unlimited fee-free cash withdrawals from any ATM. Incoming domestic bank transfers incur a fee of $14, and outgoing transfers have a fee of $35.
