The Statement Savings Account has a monthly fee of $5 unless you meet one of the following requirements:
- $500 minimum Ledger Balance each day.
- You are a minor under 18 years of age.
- You notify us that you are 62 years or older with direct deposit of Social Security, pension or other federal recurring payments to your savings account.
- You have a Comerica personal checking account.
Additionally, to open the account, you will need to make a minimum deposit of $50.
Money Market Investment Account
The Comerica Money Market Investment Account also offers a very low interest rate of 0.02% APY. Once again, we advise that if you want to generate interest, this account is not attractive.
Money Market Investment Account has a monthly fee of $12 unless you meet one of the following requirements:
- $2,500.00 minimum Ledger Balance each day.
- $5,000.00 average daily Ledger Balance.
- You have a Comerica Platinum Circle Checking account.
- You have a Premier Checking account and you have not selected a Statement Savings Account as your no-fee savings account.
Additionally, to open the account, you will need to make a minimum deposit of $50.
High Yield Money Market Investment Account
The High Yield Money Market Investment Account currently has a special offer that provides an interest rate of 4.25% APY. This interest rate can indeed be considered competitive.
High Yield Money Market Investment Account has a monthly fee of $17 unless you meet this requirement:
- $15,000.00 minimum Ledger Balance each day or have a Comerica Platinum Circle Checking account or 1849 Checking Account.
To open this account, you also need a minimum initial deposit of $50.
