Fees

This Chase credit card has no annual maintenance fees and it’s free to apply.

There are two penalties that have commissions so you should try to avoid them:

  • Late payment: up to $40
  • Return payment: up to $40

Interest rate

If you pay all the purchases made at the end of the month you will not have to pay commissions but if you defer payments you will have an interest rate between 19.49% to 28.24% APR. Remember that it is very important to pay on time so as not to pay more fees.

There is an offer in which the first 15 months you have 0% APR.

Bonus

You have a $200 welcome bonus as long as you spend $500 in the first 3 months from account opening.

During the first year you have a 5% cash back on grocery store purchases (excluding Target and Walmart) up to $12,000 spent in the first year (that’s $600 cash back).

Cash Back

You have up to 5% cash back per quarter up to a spend of $1,500. This 5% cash back is only in certain categories that change every quarter.

  • Earn 5% on travel purchased through Chase Ultimate Rewards.
  • Earn 3% on dining at restaurants, including takeout and eligible delivery services.
